David's Turtwig (Deividdo's Naetle), nicknamed Twix, is the first Pokemon obtained by David. Since David got him, he has been a very level-headed and calm Pokemon, but is very good in battle.

History

With David, witnessing John being attacked by a wild Spiritomb in SA002.

Twix is a very level-headed and calm Pokemon that juxtaposes his trainer's behavior. Twix was David's starter Pokemon and the two share a tight bond, Twix often breaking out in random bursts of happy-go-lucky energy. Twix is the major reason he won his first gym badge in Oreburgh City and also played a huge role in stopped Team Galactic from taking over Eterna City. During Pokeathlon competitions, Twix plays a huge role during the Speed events.

Twix refused to evolve, and under advice from Eve, David allowed Twix to stay in his base form to help him continue growing in the Speed event. Twix is currently holding an Everstone.

Following his journies through Sinnoh, David dropped off Twix and the rest of his Pokemon at his house, starting with a clean slate for his travels through Unova.
